A sink in the middle of the bathroom? Can it work? Absolutely!
Usually, when we plan a bathroom layout, we place the bathroom sink against a wall and normally its location is assigned to be on the sides. But do you know that you can get creative with your bathroom sink placement by putting it at the center of the room?
Veering away from the traditional layout, this bathroom opted for the bathroom sink to be at the center of the room. An important note when going for this type of layout, is to consider your plumbing area as the bathroom sink’s main function will highly depend on it.
With its minimalistic design, it included only the basic components of the bathroom sink, like the table to hold the countertop sink and bottom shelf to house the bathroom essentials. To save space, a towel rack was installed on the sides instead of installing additional cabinets.
To maintain an open space feel, despite the sink being in the middle, half of the bathroom sink wall is made up of see-through glass with a mirror in the middle. This set up still gives the illusion of an open space, despite having a structure in the middle.
Behind the glass partition is the shower area. Depending on your bathroom rize, you can also include your bathtub in this area for a shower and bath combination. You can also choose between installing a fixed shower head or a handheld shower, depending on your personal preference.
Instead of plain white bathroom tiles, this bathroom used marble with patterns as the wall’s design aesthetic. A frosted glass window helps provide the bathroom with natural light while maintaining the bathroom’s privacy. At night time, you can use artificial lighting like recessed lighting to help illuminate the space. Good choices for lighting colors are warm white, neutral, and daylight white. To maintain the minimalist and clean look of this space, always keep the bathroom essentials to a minimum. This will help keep the area clean and clutter-free and help you achieve the best experience from your bathroom.
