Making Your basic bathroom elegant

Bathrooms are one of the most hardworking and functional rooms in the house and that’s why it is important to have your basics covered. When planning a personal bathroom from scratch, make sure you prioritize your personal needs and get the necessary bathroom fixtures that support it.

We love how this bathroom is basic but functional. It used plain white tiles for its walls and placed a divider between the toilet and the shower. Not every bathroom needs to have a bathtub, as some prefer to just enjoy long showers over long baths, or maybe some have too small of a space to fit in a small tub.

If you have a small space in a bathroom and don’t want to feel a bit crowded with a divider, you can use shower curtains as space dividers. If you opt for a shower curtain, we recommend installing a shower threshold or a shower curb to keep the water in place and to avoid spilling it to other floor areas of the bathroom.

Notice how the toilet bowl is minimalist as it is installed in a certain way that reflects its primary function. No bulky water tank or unnecessary toilet accessories. It used a wall-mounted toilet tank, a toilet design used in modern bathrooms, to achieve a minimalist appearance. How it works is the toilet tank is hidden behind the wall as a space-saving solution for a clean aesthetic.

To keep with the minimalist and simple bathroom set up, the bathroom used a small vessel sink over a wall mounted storage. This set up provided just ample space for each bathroom fixture function.

The bathroom made use of its existing windows as a source for its natural light. At night time, you can use recessed lights to help illuminate the place. Adding charm to this bathroom is the floor tiles with black accents that provide contrast against the all white tiled wall of the space but at the same time complementing the bathroom’s color palette for a harmonious look.

As a finishing touch, shelves were installed right above the toilet. It included small plants and some small room decorations in the shelves to reflect a refreshing bathroom atmosphere.
